Loving-Kindness Meditation: A Heartfelt Practice for Connection

As a systemic counsellor, my favorite meditation is Loving-Kindness, a beautiful practice that nurtures both self-compassion and connection with others. We begin by offering blessings to ourselves, then extend them to someone dear to us, followed by other important people in our lives. Gradually, we widen the circle to include acquaintances and even complete strangers. This meditation reminds us of the deep power of our hearts to share kindness, fostering a sense of warmth, empathy, and interconnectedness in our daily lives.
